Antonio grips the table. The LFE channel lets out a low, sustained cello note – the sound of a man holding in a scream.

Vargas's voice: "You passed the test, Mr. President. The real coup... was never in the military. It was in your heart. And you killed it."

Antonio smiles. He presses the red button. A deafening silence (no LFE, no surrounds – just the hum of a live mic). Then:

A servant drops a silver tray in the distant kitchen – the crash echoes from Rear L to Rear R . Antonio stops. He hears a second layer: the hum of a hidden microphone inside a chandelier (high-frequency tone in Center ). He smiles.

The hidden voice is Elena's. She says: "After 'Renewal,' kill the President. Blame the leftists."

The sniper hesitates. Antonio says, instead: "Tonight, we renew nothing. We investigate everyone."
