Mary gave Brother Micah $200 for a “special prayer cloth.” George is furious but gentle. “Mary, that man’s selling hope to people who can’t afford disappointment.” Mary: “I just wanted something to work for once.”

Sheldon calls Dr. Sturgis for advice. Sturgis (over phone, slightly echoey) suggests using a freezer to shrink the magnetic domains temporarily. “It works for hard drives. Fifty-fifty chance it’ll also summon frost spirits.” Sheldon puts the floppy in the freezer next to a bag of peas.
