It happens to the best of us: you suddenly realize you haven’t seen emails from a colleague, a newsletter, or a family member in weeks. Chances are, you accidentally blocked them. Fortunately, unblocking an email in Outlook is quick and simple.

Open Outlook and go to your Inbox . Step 2: Click the Home tab at the top. Step 3: In the Delete group (far right), click Junk > Junk E-mail Options... Step 4: Click the Blocked Senders tab. Step 5: Scroll through the list, click on the email address you want to unblock, then click Remove . Step 6: Click Apply > OK . Method 3: Outlook for Mac Step 1: Open Outlook and click Tools in the top menu bar. Step 2: Select Rules (or "Junk Email Protection" depending on your version). Step 3: Look for a rule named "Blocked Senders" or any rule that moves that person's email to Junk or Deleted Items. Step 4: Select the rule and click the minus sign (-) or uncheck it. Step 5: Click OK . Method 4: Outlook Mobile App (iOS & Android) The mobile app doesn't have a dedicated "Blocked Senders List" editor. Instead, you must unblock by finding a past email.

Go to Outlook.com and sign in. Step 2: Click the Settings (Gear icon) in the top-right corner. Step 3: Scroll down and click View all Outlook settings at the bottom of the sidebar. Step 4: Click Mail > Junk email . Step 5: Look at the Blocked senders and domains section. Step 6: Find the email address you want to unblock. Click the trash can icon next to their name. Step 7: Click Save at the top. Pro Tip: While you are here, check the "Safe senders and domains" list. If their email is there, they are not blocked. If it is missing, add it to ensure future emails arrive in your Inbox. Method 2: Outlook Desktop App (Windows) For Outlook 2016, 2019, 2021, and Microsoft 365.
