The year is 2017, but the voice on the tape sounds like it’s from 1987. Crackle. Hiss. A man’s voice, low and hurried, as if he’s cupping the microphone in a closet.
More static. Then silence. Then:

“But last night, at 3:33 AM — I heard it. Not a number station. Not a pirate radio prank. It was… a list. Coordinates. Then a child’s voice reciting the periodic table in reverse. Then a door slamming, recorded live — but the door wasn’t mine.”
