Sofia Bryant (as Detective Mina Rostami) steals every scene she’s in. Her character has been a background presence until now. Episode 3 gives her the episode’s most shocking line—and she lands it with chilling calm. Direction and Cinematography Director Jessica Wu (known for Low Tide and Neon Skies ) takes over from Episode 2’s director, and the shift is noticeable. Wu favors long, unbroken takes during arguments, making you feel trapped in the room with the characters. Within four minutes, he’s already confronting his former
