Huawei’s ecosystem pitch is compelling: a seamless “Super Device” experience where your phone, tablet, and laptop talk to each other as if they were one. The linchpin of this experience on Windows is . On paper, it’s a dream—a one-stop shop for driver updates, battery health, hotspot connections, and the coveted multi-screen collaboration.
In reality, after spending over a month trying to get this software to work across three different laptops (one official MateBook, two high-end non-Huawei ultrabooks), I’ve concluded that PC Manager isn’t just buggy—it’s strategically brittle . Its compatibility issues are so profound that they border on artificial fragmentation.
