If the network folder requires a password, Windows will prompt you for your credentials. Enter them and check to avoid typing the password every time.
In the left-hand navigation pane, right-click on "This PC" . (If you don't see "This PC", scroll down.)
Open File Explorer . You can click the folder icon on the taskbar or press Windows + E on your keyboard.
To remove the drive later, simply type:
Press Windows + R , type cmd , and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter (to run as Administrator—sometimes required).
Type the following command and press Enter:
Open "This PC" again, and you’ll see your new drive under "Network locations". Method 2: The Super-Fast "Net Use" Command (For Power Users) If you prefer keyboards over mice or need to script this for multiple computers, use Command Prompt.
