Run by the New Bethany Outreach Church in rural Ohio, the walk-through spectacle depicted graphic scenes of abortion, drunk driving, and rock music-induced damnation. It was part evangelical tract, part psychological horror. But after a fatal on-site accident and a class-action lawsuit, Hell House was shuttered.
