Watching Mandy pack her overnight bag is a masterclass in anxiety. She packs for CeCe. Then for Georgie. Then triple-checks the formula temperature. She almost cancels three times before she even puts the car in drive. Back in Medford, Georgie is doing… surprisingly well

Audrey watches Georgie handle the situation (with Mandy’s remote coaching) and for the first time, she doesn’t offer a critique. She just nods and quietly leaves. It’s Connor (Dougie Baldwin) and Audrey (Rachel Bay Jones)

Connor, in his usual deadpan way, is the unexpected MVP. He doesn’t help, but he also doesn’t judge. He just sits on the couch eating Georgie’s frozen pizza and says things like, “You know, statistically, most babies survive their fathers.”
