Have a rare WBFS that won’t convert? Drop a comment below — the Dolphin forums are also incredibly helpful for edge cases.
The short answer is — but don’t close the tab yet. The long answer is much more useful, and converting your library is easier than you think. What is WBFS Anyway? Back in the day, the WBFS (Wii Backup File System) was a lifesaver for homebrew users. It was a proprietary filesystem designed to store Wii game images on a USB drive without wasting space. It stripped out padding and junk data, letting you cram more games onto a smaller hard drive for use with USB Loaders like Configurable USB Loader or USB Loader GX.

Don’t bother trying to make Dolphin read WBFS natively. Spend 10 minutes converting your library to RVZ. You’ll save disk space (RVZ compression is often better than WBFS), keep full compatibility, and avoid emulation headaches.
